Financial Help For Seniors

People with lower income, there are numerious social service agencies that provide these type of services at reduced rates. Patient's may also qualify for some of the government programs.

Medical assistance may be provided with persons who fit the eligibility requirements, but vary from state to state. For people who are over the age of 65 (and some under 65) can be offered Medicare, a health insurance program, that may also be able to offer some help.

SSA (Social Security Administration)
With documentation from your doctor stating that you are unable to work, The Social secuirty administartion has directed to special programs that can be of help to an individual.
1) Social Security Disability Benefits: Provided to those under the age of 65 that are former wage earners, who is unable to work both their previous job or a new job due to the illness and/or medication adjustments.
2) Supplementary Security Income (SSI): Available to those at the age of 65 or older who have limited assets, blind or disabled are issued a minimum monthly income in this plan.

Veterans Administration For those who are veterans, this program may be also an assistance to provide services.
